Optical dermoscopy

Optical dermoscopy is a preventive examination now included in the HTC Médicis health check-ups.
Its main goal is the very early detection of melanomas — an aggressive type of skin cancer that can be cured if detected in time.

The doctor uses a dermoscope, a magnifying device with specific lighting, to observe details invisible to the naked eye. It is a simple, quick, and completely painless method that allows early identification of potential skin abnormalities before they become serious. The examination requires no special preparation and is performed during the regular medical check-up.
