Born in Belgium, Françoise d’Andrimont spent her childhood in Chile. This change of scenery gave her an openness to the outside world, to other cultures and to pushing herself beyond her limits. Painting brings her unexpected inspiration, transporting the viewer into a dreamlike world, an evocation, a different approach between the abstract and the figurative.
